Flood Protection

Extreme weather situations are constantly increasing and there is no improvement in sight. The flood disasters of recent years have shown that conventional flood protection is no longer adequate to protect the population and industry from further damage in the long term.

Together with the Roßlauer Schiffswerft shipyard, ThyssenKrupp Bautechnik has developed flood protection systems which have already passed the practical test several times as preventive measures.

The production and installation of the TKR aluminum dam beam system and the rolling of sheet piles for ThyssenKrupp Bautechnik are just two examples of the services provided by Roßlauer Schiffswerft in flood protection.
